One of the great examples, that Gladwell uses in his story is an example about a girls basketball team, that was made of a bunch of scrappy, non athletic teens. But by having a disadvantage such as their own, it allowed them to be able to conceive a strategy that lead them victory. The strategy was made up of playing a full-court press which made the team gain more stamina because, of the amount of running they were doing. To adapt their bodies to the amount of stamina used, the coach would have the players keep their bodies moving ninety-nine percent of the time during their practices.
