Romanyshyn also has a daily routine within the morning where the students come in the door place their backpacks on the back wall and grab their book box with all their writing journals and reading books and so much more that way the students are organized and have all their work right in front of them, and they know where all of their reading and writing materials go. They then move into the announcement that happens each and everyday and the students go over if they have hot or cold lunches and place a magnet on the board and then they take attendance. What I really enjoy about Mrs. Romanyshyn’s classroom is that she has an area she likes to call the “rocking chair area” this area is where the students can move away from their desk setting and read a book, introduce a lesson, talk about ideas and concepts, and also come together as a community. Mrs. Romanyshyn uses this area a lot and I think it’s really helpful for the students to have a place to go besides just their desk. Mrs. Romanyshyn shows respect for all her students and values different opinions and ideas. For example, on February 27th the students had just come back to school after the weekend and Mrs. Romanyshyn took 10 minutes out of the beginning of the day to really discuss the students weekend and ask them how they are feeling, and really took the time to understand and get to know how her students were
