In 1939, Hitler confided to Rosenberg that it was a huge mistake . By the beginning of the war, National Socialists had established German school systems on an interconfessional basis . Christianity was slowly being pushed out of the way to make room for the new National Socialist agenda. As if what was happening with the Christians was not bad enough what was starting to happen with the Jews was even worse. The Jews however, did introduce a problem; economically, culturally, socially, and intuitionally . Germany had neglected to put restraints on immigration allowing large numbers of Jews to enter the country immediately following the war .
