What Christians Believe
People who believe in God can be divided into two groups. These groups are affected by the kind of God they believe in such as; good and evil or good and righteous. There are two very different suggestions on this. The first suggestion is that He is not known to be good and evil. In many ways the population call one thing good and another thing bad. But this depends on the point of view of each person. The second suggestion is the opposite idea that God is "good" or "righteous." A God who will take a side, who loves love and hates hatred, who wants us to behave the right way and not the bad. (Lewis, 1972)
The difference between Pantheism and the Christian idea is quite different. The first suggestion of this group and how it differs, is called Pantheism. Pantheists usually believe that God brings to life the universe and a part of Him, and if it did not exist, He would not exist either. The second group is Christians idea they believe that God invented and created the universe. If we do not take the difference between good and bad seriously, then it is easy to say that anything you find in this world is a part of God. But, of course, if you think some things really bad, and God really good, then you cannot talk like that. You must believe that God is separate from the world and that some of the bad things we see in are opposite to His will. (Lewis, 1972)
