I believe that each of these bring a lot to my academic journey. Throughout my courses at Bethel University my problem solving skills have improved so much. I am able to focus at the situation at hand and figure out what exactly needs to be done. My communication skills are great as well. I can fully understand what it is that my instructor is asking for and I know that if I have any problems or questions I can ask for help. Time management is a big plus for me. I work a full-time job and I had a family to take care of and with the combination of homework it can be difficult trying to get everything done on time. I have set aside time each day to get ahead of my assignments for the week because you never know what life may decide to throw …show more content…
I would have to agree with the findings that focusing on one thing at a time is a better way of accomplishing goals. I am definitely a multi-tasker and when I am doing a few things all at once I feel a sense of accomplishment, but yet sometimes I feel very overwhelmed. I am always on the go and for me it is easier to get several things started versus trying to get just one thing done. I know with all the studies out there saying and giving every reason why multitasking is killing your brain, it can be hard to see multitasking can be an okay thing, well
