Spirituality is a word that has endless definitions and means something different to everyone. Although no one definition may be the same, they all lead back to one basic idea – faith. Everyone believes that spirituality is something that you believe in and something that you feel. Spirituality has been always related to religion. People think that just because a person believes in God she is religious. Also, if a person reads the Bible or goes frequently to church, she is considered religious. What people have not understood is that spirituality is totally different from religion. They cannot comprehend how one could be without the other. Certainly, they are separate. The Bible says in the book of John 4:23, "Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. This verse is my base to believe that God does not want religious people but "worshipers in spirit and truth”.
