1. What was the first drug that most of the people in the video tried before doing harder drugs?
The first drug that most people tried for the first time was pot. Marijuana is not always the first drug a person uses but it is powerful factor in drug abuse.

2. Explain what was meant when it was said that opiate use is like chasing a dragon?
Opiate use is like chancing a dragon because once you first try it, you get addicted. When one tries this drug, one constantly searcher for that first high but never reach it.

3. Do you believe marijuana is a gateway drug? Why or why not?

What is the difference between oxycodone, morphine, and heroin?
Oxycodone is: an imitation painkilling drug that is similar to morphine in its effects and subject to abuse and addiction
Morphine: an analgesic (pain killer) and narcotic (tranquilizer) drug that is used medicinally to relieve pain.
Heroin: a highly addictive analgesic drug derived from morphine, often used illegally as a sedative for generating euphoria.

10. Why did the addicts in the documentary switch from prescription pain pills to heroin?
Prescription pain pills became expensive and harder to receive so they resorted to heroin that does not involve such a long process.

11. What did you find most surprising from watching this video? Where there any statistics provided that surprised you?
I have a general concept of drugs and what they do, I am not very familiar with details. I find all these statistics surprising:
• 1 in 5 High school students misuse drugs
• Addiction happens the first time
• Friend and relatives are the contributors to drugs
• Heroin users typically use more than one drug
• 44 people did in the U.S every day because of prescription use.
