When my Language Arts teacher first said we were going to read The Devils Arithmetic I thought the book would be about the devil and what he's like but as we started reading the book I realized its not about the devil its about how the Jews had a devastating life working at concentration camps for the Nazis. When we started to read The Devils Arithmetic there was a girl named Hannah. Hannah is a strong teen who in the movie and the book went back in time and relived the war. As Hannah fights for her survival to make it through the devastating time. Hannah is a 13 year old Jewish girl who has a little brother named Aaron. Hannah and her family go to Seders every year to open the door to Elijah. This year the Seder falls on Easter. On the way
