The movie did leave a lot out from the book so it isn't as well detailed as it could've been. The movie changes the scenery from the beginning to being at a tattoo shop and Hannah’s age to make her older like 16-17 and shows a scene where she is driving to her home, in the book Hannah is 13 and the book says her mom picked her up from rosemary’s house. The book mentions Hannah having a little brother aaron, but in the movie he isn't mention nor does he read the questions at the dinner table or hide the bread like said in the book. When hannah opens the door to Elijah she doesn't see the fields or people working she goes straight into a hallway in Ruby’s house. In the book Ruby is mentioned to be Hannah’s best friend in the movie she is mentioned as not only her best friend but her cousin also. The book also doesn't mention Hannah having her aunt Nina, Ruby’s mother. In the book it says Ruby pulls out a sailor dress and Hannah puts it on. In the movie Ruby wears the dress not Hannah. In the movie Ruby is showing Hannah around the village, Ruby and Hannah take a picture it does not say that they took a picture in the book. The book mentions Samuel and Faith we’re planning to get married. On there way to the marriage Faith and Samuel are stopped by nazis at the marriage center and are forced to leave and not get married. In the movie is shows Faith and Samuel getting married and the nazis come after they are already married. The movie they did not have trains that carried the jews, they rode in the trucks and they did not stop at all like the book said. In the book when they get to their camp, they’re forced to get naked so they can shower and get their new outfits on. In the movie they don't take showers they just go in a room and get on their new outfits. When Samuel and other men try to escape and are caught, in the book they lined up and were shot one by one, in the movie they’re
