"The devil and Daniel Webster" by Stephen Vincent Benet was an amazing short story. It talked about the importance of freedom and sacrifice. Each and every character in the story plays a significant role to develop the theme of this story. The two characters that really stood up to me were Daniel Webster and the devil, Mr. Scratch.
