Despite the decrease by 16% of foreign visitors in the first six months of 2009 because of Thai political crisis and the flu pandemic, the last four months of this year have seen a return of international tourists to Thailand with a impressive increase, especially in November and December. Therefore, the temporary numbers for 2009 were nearly 14 million foreign tourists, just decrease 4% compared to 2008. It was the result of changing marketing slogan in mid 2009 to Amazing Thailand, Amazing Value and the encouragement of Thailand government. (King 2009).
This trend continued in the whole year 2010 and even a year later. The total number of visiters in Thailand in 2010 is nearly 16 million, went up by 12.63 percent compared to the previous year. (Tourist Arrivals in Thailand 2010). And the year 2011 marked a miraculous sharp growth with over 19 million tourists, an incredible number at that time’s situation. It is all because of Government’s wise policies in promoting for Thailand tourism. (Karnjanatawe 2011).

2.2. The reasons for the development of tourism in Thailand
There are two main reasons for this development: the attraction of people and nature here and the government’s sensible policies.
