The time was around homecoming week when everybody is supposed to having fun and enjoying their week. During homecoming week, we had a different event each day to engage in school spirit. On Wednesday, students could dress up as a nerd because it was nerd day. Many students were interested and participated in this event. As for myself, I came to school in my normal attire like always. I wore a pair of khaki pants, button up shirt and some retro Air Jordan shoes. I wasn’t really into fashion at the time so I didn’t really care about keeping up with the trends. Nevertheless, on nerd day, people thought I was participating in the event. There many immature students saying that I was the best dress for the event. At the time, it didn’t make no different because I like what I had on. As the day went along class began and I knew I wasn’t the class I wanted to be in at the time. This was the class that I was usually bullied in. And to add salt to the wound, the teacher was not there in class. We had a substitute teacher. At my high school substitute didn’t really care about the students doing work. They were there just to collect a check. So I understood this meant trouble for me. Being in class for 55 minutes where the majority of student wanted to talk about me was horrible. It wasn’t like I could ditch the class. I would get in major trouble with the principal.
