Poverty has a mixed bag of definitions depending upon whom you talk to and where they are from. Numerous people have a strict meaning of what it is while others convey the term all the more freely. As per research from the World Health Organization, poverty can be characterized in two ways; relative poverty and absolute poverty. Regardless of what the definition is, there is by all accounts a pattern in that poverty is not something that happens to one particular sort of individual. Based off these definitions, it could happen to anyone, regardless even for a brief of the time. Regardless of what the definitions of poverty are, it is something that is not easy and is not something to judge individuals about on the grounds that you don 't know which class of poverty, they fit into. People find a great amount of disgrace in being poor to the point that they cease from letting it out. Hooks explains this same circumstance from when she was teaching a class. She explains how she got to know that most students were denying their backgrounds when she asked about it except for one. . Hooks said that the others said they were terrified that letting it be known would, “disgrace them in ways that would go beyond our class,” (Hooks 485). Why would it be a good idea for anyone to be reluctant to act naturally and concede that they are without intends to support a certain way of life? Society judges and assumes so much that people are reluctant to concede they are in a state of need. Generally speaking, the response to end their torment is to educate people on poverty. In any case, this is problematic on the grounds that people are ignorant of information on themselves in any case when it is not hard to find.
