The Definition Of Diversity

The word "diversity" means being different. This can be a difference in race, gender, ethnic identity and all types of things. Diversity is what makes a person unique and special. Being diverse is when all different types of people are able to be together in one place and enjoy each other. Diversity is present all through out my community. There are people from all types of backgrounds. It is very interesting to see how everybody celebrate their different holidays, how they dress differently, most importantly how they think differently. By understanding diversity, we are able to live with people around us better.
