Forms of life include shared habits, assumptions, values, and ways of communication. By having these in common we do not need to have a clear-cut definition of art because it is ever changing. People throughout the years have different interests and lifestyles, and so art will change alongside with it. In fact, new art comes from interpreting old artwork. Art, as said by Richard Harries, is a valuable friend of Christian faith (Harries 112). It has its own distinct point and purpose. The Bible not only talks about understanding and watching what you see or do, but it also gives wisdom and advice. Adhering to what the Word says is the best tool to coming to understand a work of art.
