Bain Essay The use of the deep learner technique gives you so many benefits not just in school but also in real life. Every time you learn something that interests you normally you do deeper search of the topic to fully understand it, but what is this process called? According to the book “What the best college students do” by Kein Bain this process is a technique that students develop all the time, this technique is called deep learner. The deep learner technique is principally developed when you want to fully understand the information of a topic. it is used in differents ways. People used it during short and long terms. A good example is a student during his college time taking a class that is really interesting for him, because the topic of the class caught his attention. He decides to do more research to understand more about the topic. That's considered a deep learner. Things that we learn or that we take our time to learn stick with us for longer time. For example when we start learning how to ride a bike, we turn into deep learners without noticing it, we try and try until we ride the bike without failing. This is how much helpful the deep learner technique is for us. We use the deep learner technique in our daily life. We used it for basic things and we don't notice. For example cooking. We cook every day and try to improve it. Once I had to make pancakes. I didn't know how. When I made them, the came out raw. I couldn't flip them. I had to watch a video to learn how to make them correctly because they would come out all raw. After I watched the video, I was able to make pancakes that were good to eat. This shows how we use deep learning in daily life. When we don't know something we try to finds way to be able to learn how to do what we don't
