The profession of prostitution is widespread infact, “there are 40 to 42 million prostitutes in the world, according to a report from Fondation Scelles (via Le Figaro), three quarters of prostitutes are between the ages of 13 and 25, and 80% of them are female” (Lubin,2012). A large amount of the workers are females and despite it being illegal in more than 150 countries, this profession still exists with more than 40 million workers. Prostitution affects minors, who are brought into this business without their consent, according to research “there may be at least ten million children victimized through prostitution” (Child trafficking, 2002). On average, “Canadian prostitutes start their prices from $147 USD” (Prostitutes Prices,2015) converted to Canadian dollar it is approximately $195 and that is just the start rate, many prostitutes make way more than that just in a day. According to a study conducted in Nevada, USA which has legalized prostitution, “on average sex workers earn $3000 per week” (Morris, 2013). This shows with the legalization of this lucrative business, owners of brothels and prostitutes can obtain license then they have to pay taxes and the country will get all the revenue. By making this law legal, it can save the expense of enforcing prostitution laws and having officers make arrests “of the various units in the Metro Toronto Police force, the second most expensive is the Morality Squad, which deals with drug and prostitution offenses... its portion of the budget came to $7.9 million, with $1.8 million, or 23% of the total going to pay the salaries of those in the unit assigned to prostitution” (Davis,n.d). This much amount is disburse in one city, the whole country estimate is more than hundred million dollars, with its legalization government does not have to spend a lot of tax for enforcing these laws and those taxes can used for other critical issues like drugs. It can help people with financial trouble “findings from field studies indicate that many women work for
