Zimbabwe is a small country located in Africa. Zimbabwe is known for their beautiful scenery like Victoria Falls and for their culture. While Zimbabwe is known for their beautiful landscape and culture; Zimbabwe is also known for their violation of human rights while under the rule of Robert Mugabe. The outline of how humans are to be treated is in The Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This document helps to protect the rights of people in countries. Zimbabwe is the worst country to live in because they are violating the rights their people more than any other country.

The Declaration of Human Rights is a document outlining how a human should be treated by their country. This document was put into play on December 10, 1948 by the United Nations (The Universal Declaration of Human Rights at Sixty). This document was put into place because of World War 2. With that being put into play, now countries had a set of rules on how there are to treat their people. Once in place The Universal Declaration of Human Rights “provided the foundation for a series of other international agreements, both global and regional” (The Universal Declaration of Human Rights at Sixty). The Declaration of Human Rights was also a foundation for passing international laws such as The International Convention on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination and The Convention on the Rights of the Child.
