To be honest,from where I stand,I don’t accept that Ned is a sympathetic character,though I think that the author wants us to have compassion for him.In the following paragraphs,I will explain why I think that the author wants to make him look like sympathetic and why I don’t like this protagonist.

At the beginning of this story,the author described a youthful and sportful impression of Ned.It seems like he had a wonderful life—with the rich personal property,a good marriage and four lovely daughters.All he should do just to joint different parties and get drunk.In the first few swimming pools,Ned was a popular character,everyone wanted to talk to him and the host was so proud that he can showed at the party.However,the situation was going
