In 1973, The United States made abortion legal by the now, famous court case of Roe vs. Wade. The case ruled in Roe’s favor and many abortions have been performed since 1973. However, the debate over whether it should have been legalized in the first place is still a relevant topic amongst many Americans, as well as people of other countries and cultures. People are normally divided into two groups, pro-choice and pro-life. Pro-choice believes that abortion should be legalized without any input from anyone other than the mother, whereas pro-life believes that a fetus is still a human and, therefore, abortion is considered killing an innocent human being.
