Out of the 50 states in America 20 of them have abolished the death penalty, and thankfully California has not yet joined the states that have. If people vote to keep it this year, it will not abolish. California needs the death penalty because it helps make this world seem a lot safer. It shows people there is still equal justice in the world. Telling potential criminals that if they are willing to take life, the consequence is their life, it brings justice to the victims and their families. The taxpayers will not spend the rest of their lives supporting murderers, vote yes on prop 66 and no on prop 62.

He has been put up for parole 12 times since he was convicted. Putting a convicted killer on death row means there is no chance they will ever be released. They may die in prison or put in the chair, either way; they are not getting out and causing a threat to not only the people that convicted them but to the families of the victims as well. By chance, the convicted person released it may cause the family of the victims to take life into their hands knowing that the person that killed their wife, husband, daughter, son, etc. Got parole and out walking the streets.
Using a drug that is used to euthanize animals is wrong to use on human beings. Compared to the history of how a person put to death, a lethal injection is more humane.
