I can think of many times I’ve gotten lost in the store with my mom trying to get something on my own. Many of these happen because I’m curious and want to find things on my own. when I was in my pre-teen years. Sure it’ll happen every now and then but it’s a slim chance I would actually get lost in the store. I’ve already recognized the walking pattern my mom takes for some stores. Especially since I’m tall and I can see her from a far distance versus being a 7 year old in a store that can’t see anything at adult height. Unless it’s a store like Costco where the only way to actually find her is by texting her. Looking back at the quote Samuel L. Jackson said isn’t relevant to me since it’s more like a “big boy” decision I made as a kid, that trying to get something important without something bad happening. In the end getting lost in a store isn’t much of a big deal than it was when I was 7 years
