From the day his troubled life began the day his parents divorced, to the day he was found died in his house In Seattle, Washington in 1994, Kurt Donald Cobain was a talented rock performer who gave name to a new genre “Grudge” with his band Nirvana in the late 1980’s. Cobain parents’ divorce lead him to find himself in some legal trouble resulting in arrest and experimenting with alcohol and drugs at an early age that eventually lead him to develop a drug addiction. Their parents eventually divorced when Cobain was nine and this began Cobain’s troubled life that awaited him. Haven been gifted a guitar by his uncle Chuck at age fourteen, Cobain found peace and respite with this guitar that gave his music but also a way to let everything that was going on around him and how he felt, out. Cobain showed great signs of talent at a very young age artistically and musically often impressing his teacher. In an interview with Jon Savage an English writer, broadcaster, and journalist, about identity, Kurt Donald Cobain describes, “I even though that I was gay, I thought that might be the solutions to my problems.” (blank on blank).
