John F Kennedy Assassination Theories Essay

Great Essays
The death of John F Kennedy is one of the most infamous moments in the story of our nation. Although there is a version that is considered as what actually happened (and which I believe is the real story of how JFk died) 70% of people believe that Lee Harvey Oswalt was part of a bigger scheme or not even was responsible for the death of John F. Kennedy. On this research paper I will break down some theories and state whether the theories have some truth to them or if some just simply don’t add up.
➢ I. The cia killed the nations president
The first theory that I will go over will be that his assassination was an inside job. Although not by the government as a full but by the c.i.a, the cia was angry at all the changes that were being made

Johnson the nation’s vice president at the time. It is well documented that the two man had their differences both politically and personal. Lyndon B. Johnson really wanted to be president and I don’t know if it is coincidence that the assassination was done in Texas, which was Johnson’s home state. Although this doesn’t seem important it is when it is believed that Johnson’s advisors and people organized the trip. Attorney Craig Zirbel (also known as an author) has stated that the only way Lee Harvey Oswalt was involved was as the fall guy and that there was such thing as an “Texas Connection” in the assassination of JFK. His reasoning is based on what was previously mentioned that Johnson’s officials organized the trip and that the president was killed by 2 men. The connection continue when Zirbel states that the 2 men were most likely hired by Johnson’s associates in the oil business. This theory tends to overlap with both the theory of the 2 shooters and that of the mafia. Zirbel touches the subject of the mafia stating that Johnson’s people did have ties to the mob. Zirbel separates every theory by stating that Johnson had the biggest motive out of everybody that was mentioned in the various conspiracy theories. I mean becoming president is not a small feat and it is an extremely desired position maybe the most desired …show more content…
In the book the accidental victim it is stated that on the day of November the 22nd the man that was supposed to be assassinated was John Cornally, the governor of Texas at the time. This book states that Harvey Oswalt was the assassin meaning this book does not revolve around the idea of who killed the president. The reasoning as in why John Cornally was the target that day was because Oswalt felt like he had been betrayed by him. In the book it is stated that Oswalt had no problems with John F. Kennedy, and the book portrays why would Oswalt pick up a riffle and specifically kill the president that day. The main reasoning behind the hatred of conally which according to the book caused the shooting was because when conally was the secretary of the navy he rejected a petition from Oswalt to reverse his dishonorable discharge from the marines. It is well said in the book that the hatred felt by Oswalt was something of huge proportions big enough to kill

As this was happening, people state that Russia were the ones who told Oswald to assassinate the president, (and this was still at a time conflicting between US and Russia). Now another famous theory was that the CIA ordered for the killing of President Kennedy. The theory goes that President Kennedy was furious with the CIA since they were going to kill Cuban leader…

The Kennedy Assassination There are many conspiracy theories surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, (JFK). One of the most prominent, is that lone gunman and communist sympathizer Lee Harvey Oswald, on his own accord, took matters into his own hand and singlehandedly planned and executed the President of the United States of America. Another theory was that Oswald was a pawn in a deadly game of politics and mafia wars and was directed by the powers that be to kill JFK, and in an effort to prevent him from ever exposing the plot, he too was murdered in cold blood. Curiously, the theory that weighs in most heavily is that Lee Harvey Oswald was framed for the murder of JFK. Popular conspiracy theories claimed the “government” was behind it and the murder was in retaliation for a political upset, specifically, the Bay of Pigs conflict in Cuba (Polidoro, 2005).…

On of the theories on who assassinated JFK point to his right hand man at the time, Lyndon Johnson. The issue that gave motive to this theory was that the President was Looking to replace Johnson as the vice president in the upcoming election. Also LBJ had a political career that was being threatened by a corruption scandal, and when he entered the presidency the issue was overcomed (22 November 1963). Lyndon B. Johnson might have been motivated by these things to kill the president.…
