Awareness is defined as “the state or condition of being aware; having knowledge; consciousness:” by dictionary.com. This nine letter word separates reality from delusion. Many people are not aware of who they are or what is really going in there relationships. It is a human attribute that we all face at one time in our lives. The first person who is unhappy as a result of his self-confusion is Happy from “Death of a Salesman”.The next person, Biff from “Death of a Salesman”, is someone who is aware of his surrounding. Another person that is happy and confused about their relationship is Beth from “Ordinary People”. The last person who is happy as a result of being aware of their relationship is Calvin from“Ordinary People”. The authors from “Ordinary People” and “Death of a Salesman” are trying to tell us that awareness of self or relationships makes us happier.
