It’s the last day of the school year! The kids and teachers could not be happier! It’s the begging of the summer of “1991” the best decade people say, the 90s. I lived in San Jose ca. You did it, you graduated kindergarten! Moving on up too first grade. It was time to celebrate. Mom and dad say; let’s go to Red Lobster. Sitting outside on the wooden benches, waiting for the table to be ready. That’s by the big lobster tank. The lobsters swimming around in it just waiting for the next person to come along to choose their fate. Sitting outside on those wooden benches holding the gadget in my hand that blinks red and vibrates when your table is ready. Talking about the school year and all the great things we did that year. My dad talking about …show more content…
To be a plumber in the union, and not just any Plummer a commercial industrial Plummer. He dose big important jobs like the HP Pavilion home of the San Jose sharks! It was built ‘Between’ June 1990- sept 1993. It opened September 7, 1993 to be exact. It’s now called the SAP Center. They changed that in June 5, 2013. I thought it was way cool that my dad built the pluming underneath the ice, or the main stage. So many different fun important things happened inside of this stadium. And my dad was one of the first people inside this building. The kids at school thought that was way cool also! So when he graduated were did we go? Yup, Red Lobster. There were a lot of us there this time though, so we had all the tables pushed together. Back by the big lobster tank, them waiting on their fate. We have my aunts, uncles, grandmas, grandpas, cosines, and friends. Then you have those few that are in everyone’s family who are load, and think that they are always right. Well in the mist of it all, a friend shows up at Red Lobster. Walks up to our table, to give my dad a gift. A gift for helping him pass his finales in math. He was having a really hard time with it. He was very grateful my dad helped him, and got him too pass it! The gift was a calculator. We all thought that was very kind of him to show up and do that for my father. Then the uncle I was telling you about says, ‘really’ a calculator! What would you need that thing for? In a very rude way. My father replies; it’s the perfect gift for the situation being celebrated! Math! To top it off it’s almost a 200 dollar calculator. So I would say it’s the perfect gift! So if you could please keep your stupid drunk ass comments to yourself! The last part started creeping up loader and loader with every word. The more it got to the end. So of course, everyone around our area heard what happened. I think that was the first time I’ve seen my uncle get

Many have argued if Florida schools should switch to year-round school. Florida should not switch to year-round school because it will make attending after school activities difficult and would make it harder, on parents who have to work over the time that their children are off from school. Year-round school would allow students and teachers to have more stretched out breaks instead of one long summer, that may lead to summer slide. Changing to year-round school would make everything harder so Florida should stick with traditional and not switch to year-round. First of all, after school activities including sports, music and many more are a great way for students in the community to stay active and involved.…
