Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving Day, traditionally the opening of the Christmas shopping period. Black Friday is an unofficial holiday, but many workers no longer have that day off as part of the Thanksgiving holiday, for the increased number of shoppers seen over the years. Merchants often decorate for the Christmas and holiday season beforehand skipping over Halloween and Thanksgiving. All the stores not just department stores promising great deals, super-fantastic sales, and lower prices with tons of quantity. Every retailer tries to offer a better selection to what is trending; better quality gifts with the newest items in time for Christmas all while providing a larger quantity. Many retailers open remarkably early, with most of the buyers typically beginning at twelve A.M. vs. five A.M from recent years, leaving many families not able to travel, spend time with family for the holiday season. Consequently, it is the most dangerous time of the year.

Anyone who has been to a Black Friday event knows the online experience is not always as stress-free. However, customers can avoid the dangerous, unruly crowds that lead to people fighting, getting hurt and even arrested. As we all know, technology is not foolproof. Websites crash after a population overload. Eventually when rebooted the items in your checkout basket is no longer available due to others staying logged in while you got kicked off.
