Roberta Brandau has dedicated her life around children and animals. She is married to Robert Brandau, a Master Dog Behaviorist and has 4 children.
Roberta Brandau is a 4-H Leader and enjoys celebrating the Holidays with her family and with the children in her 4-H Clubs.
She decided to write “The Day after Christmas” when one of her friends told her that when Christmas is over nothing goes on.
Well now the children will know what does goes on when they read “The Day after Christmas”.

It was the perfect night to travel high into the sky with a sleigh full of goodies for good girls and boys.
As he settles back we go to another part of the North Pole, The Reindeer’s Barn.
The elves are running about, taking each and every reindeer’s harness and bridle off. It takes 4 elves for each reindeer. They start at the beginning and unhook the first 2 reindeer from the harness.
The individual harness is taken off and handed to one of the elves to take into the tack room, polish up, repair if needed and store away for next year. The bridle is taken off and the halter applied. The bridle is handed to another elf to polish and repair and put away in the Tack room for next Christmas Eve.
Each reindeer is then led to another area by an elf that will brush him down and then bring him to his stall which another elf has cleaned out, applied bedding, fresh hay, water and oats. Waste cans must be emptied, and the garbage taken out. Storage areas must be swept clean as well as the entire workshop floor.
All tools must be examined to make sure they are in tip top working order, Santa & the elves can not have anything unsafe or broken to stop production..
Remember, Santa’s Workshop is like an assembly line and things must keep moving in perfect order. The elves only have a year to make all of the toys for all the good girls and boys. It takes a lot of hard work.
Back in the home, Mrs. Claus checks in on Santa who has nodded out in his chair by the fire. She gently removes his glasses, folds them and places them on the end table. She then takes the list and folds it up and places it underneath his glasses. His hot chocolate is now cold.
Not wanting to wake him from his well-deserved nap she picks up his boots and takes them into the kitchen. She opens up the cabinet and takes out the shoe polish and a rag.
Sitting down on the kitchen chair she begins to polish his well-worn black boots until they shine brightly. Once she is done she gets up and takes them to the bedroom and opens up the
