My dad died before I was born. When I was thirteen I joined the American Revolutionary War. I became a prisoner of war at that time. When I was a teenager I went to Bullocks Creek Academy in York County, South Carolina. I did not go to college. I was a lawyer and a teacher and I became president. I was the 7th president of the United States of America. I was running against John Quincy Adams Jr. What makes me interesting is that I became President in 1828 and I got in a duel with Charles Dickinson.I killed him. Something that is special
