The Secret Ann Frank Analysis

Ann frank found it difficult for herself to hide in a secret Annex; she found it frustrating to cope up with hiding. Writing a diary was cathartic to her to let go off boredom that was attached with closed confines of the Secret Annex. She and all else could not go outside of confines always felt threatened for life.
At the time of writing a diary Ann was thirteen years old bright eyed girl, thus it was no wonder that she like many other school girls loved boys, school and spending time with her friends. She was hopeful at the time of arrival at Annex, but things turnout the way she had not anticipated. Her cheering, live wires and attitude turned in to loneliness, isolation and above all into deep thinking. She immediately found herself arguing the residents as she was then earlier more challenging and argumentative (Stichting, 2016). In fact she went on to fall in love for the first time – which can be considered as the big change coming in her life. It was obvious that her character changes for good or bad – is another thing debate. Moreover, she was daddy’s girl, and continuously found herself arguing herself with her mother – which can be considered a teenage girl’s typical fashion. Any normal human being would struggle with this kind of a restricted life - cut from society in general. In her letter to Kitty, written on Friday, April 14, 1944; she went on to tell Kitty that everyone here with her is tense and Piem has nearly reached a boiling point. Mrs. Van D. has caught a cold and grumbling, while Mr. Van D is itching for cigarettes and is growing to turn cold.
