Social Responsibility Exercise
1- Poverty is one of the most serious problems on the earth. It is the old, modern, and continuous disease. He is the one who has lost countries and destroyed civilizations. It is the first catalyst of crimes of all kinds. Socially, one of the dangerous problems that poverty can cause is the spread of unemployment, which is produced because of the lack of material ability to create jobs. Poverty also can cause serious diseases such as Malaria, HIV/AIDS, and TB. Moreover, Poverty can lead people to do inappropriate actions like stealing. Personally, I have not violated any animal rights in the past, however, I used to do some actions or bad behaviors that I was unaware of which could be considered as animal’s disrespect. For example, I used to wear clothes, watches, and buy bags and shoes that made of natural leather for animals. Also, I was looking at the animals as properties, for entertainment, or it is only suitable for food. I wasn’t the one who cares about animals and their rights. However, later I realized that my perspective was completely different from what it is supposed to be. The good thing that I did when I was freshman was buying a dog. After learning a lot about animal rights and living with one of them, the ideas and the perspective about the animals have been changed directly. So, I stopped wearing and buying nature leather and all other bad habits which do not correspond to animal right. Not only did I changed my perspective, but also I convinced my friends and my family who were devaluing the animal. After that, they and I cooperated together to change people’s mind about this particular issue. For example, we usually do awareness campaigns that indicate the importance of respecting their right by stopping to torture them, viewing it as property, and should treat them properly. Personally, I have the desire to own veterinary clinics in some countries all around the world. I also hope that
