Importance Of Snitching

Snitching is when you tell on a person about what they did or are planning to do. A person can snitch on someone by telling the teacher that this person cheated on a test. It can also be done by telling a teacher or someone that a person was violent. While there are many ways a person can snitch the end result is almost always the same. The person who snitched is seen as the bad person because people do not like tattle tales. Someone could be really helping by telling on a certain person, but some people just do not care. I think snitching in most circumstances is a good thing. He talked about how some kids made pipe bombs and took them to his children’s school and how some students knew what they were planning for months before the students did it and did not tell on them (Muller and Weiner, 2015, p.248-249). He talked about how upset he was about this and how he talked to his kids friends about telling on people (Muller and Weiner, 2015, p.249). The principal and a police officer checked his locker and found them. It was a total surprise I would have never guessed that he was taking drugs. I had several classes with this student and I never knew. I did not see any of the signs he just seemed like another class clown. I do not know who told on him, but I think it was the right thing to do. When a person does drugs it hurts them. If this student would have decided to drive sometime after taking the drugs there could have been an accident. If this person would not have told on him who knows what could have
