While other birds have wings for flying, penguins have adapted flippers to help them swim in the water. Not every penguin lives in the same ecosystem. There are many species that danger penguins and weather that messes with the ecosystem which endangers their habitat. Penguin have done a good job to adapt and stay a live. Even though their habitat has been threatened before.

Penguins spend half their life in water and half their life on land. Penguins mainly live in the southern hemisphere of the world. They mostly live on ice although there are species that live in a warmer area on land.For the most part penguins live at sothern hemisphere. on ice that is slowly melting away that has a risk of extincrion for some of the species.
