Founded July, 4 1776 as a Christian nation, the Declaration of Independence and of course the Constitution. A capitalist country that is moving more and more towards socialism, The United States of America, land of the free. With a population of 318,892,103 and growing, English as the primary spoken language, known for their diverse mix of races, customs and traditions, the United States of America is sought out by most human beings to be an amazing place to fulfill your dreams, fix broken hope and change the lives of its people for the better. It’s believed to be the place where dreams come true, your possibilities are endless and miracles happen, or so they think. Contrary to belief The United States of America has its fair share of poor, insurance less, broken, hungry, sick, and hopeless, spirt-less, homeless people. Although an exact number is not possible; there are nearly 50,000 of the homeless you see within the United States each night that are veterans. This total represents 8.6 percent of the total homeless population within the country. These homeless veterans have severed in World War II, the Korean War, Cold War, Vietnam War, Grenada, Panama, Lebanon, Persian Gulf War, Afghanistan and Iraq (OEF/OIF), and the military’s anti-drug cultivation efforts in South America.
