You always hear about those stories on the news about someone who has been injured or killed due to a drunk driver. You might go to a friend’s house or out to eat and have a few drinks and once it’s time to go or move to a new location, you get behind the wheel. Next thing you know there are red and blue lights flashing in your mirrors and you are in a world of trouble. Most people who drive after they’ve been drinking think that they are okay to drive. Even if it is under the legal limit, your ability to drive may still be impaired. So after you get pulled over, what happens next? In the state of Arizona a legislative law was passed in 2007 that states it is required for convicted drunk drivers to use an interlock ignition device before they are able to obtain any type of unrestricted driving privileges.
