Animal Experimentation Many people say that animal experimentation is a cruel thing to do. They disagree on the fact that animals are tested yet others think that it should be legal even if it is harsh for many reasons. I say animal experimentation should stay legal and it’s a sacrifice that we have to make. Over the years, many types of medicines have come out. From Viagra to Tylenol, all these medicines might not be here today if it wasn’t for animal experimentation. Animals like cows and pigs are sent to slaughter houses which are instantly killed in favor of meat but we need it to live and be healthy. Animals that are experimented on may not be happy but there is always a price that there is to pay. Humans have to stay alive and well and for that, we have to eat meat, having said that, if someone is sick, medicine is the cure to stay alive and healthy. It can be as little as a cold to as big as breast cancer but the cure is here. While it is true that there is a new way to test drugs by studying cell structures in a petri dish, it does not necessarily follow that it will give the same results as it does in on a living animal (Should animals be used for Scientific or Commercial Testing?). In order to properly test a drug, it is supposed to circulate through all the organs and a cell structure does not have a circulatory system to do that therefore, the tests made on the cell structure would not be accurate for all the symptoms and the real
