In 1997’s film "Soul Food," I was excited to see a movie that didn't represent an American family by typical ruins. " Soul Food" is a triumph because it never loses sight of the importance of family, even as its family members transgress and quarrel. The storyline focuses on the lasting influence of the family matriarch (played wonderfully by Irma P. Hall), Big Mama. Her kindhearted and wise soul holds the family together. When she dies due to complications of diabetes, her daughters must overcome their disparities to maintain the family.…

The film Life is Beautiful is a 1997 Italian comedy-drama film directed by and starring Roberto Benigni. Along with his wife, Dora and son Giosué they navigate the extremely harsh conditions of a concentration camp and because of this, the theme of family is extremely prevalent boosting the morale and courage of each member. The time travel paradox or simply temporal paradox is a self contradictory argument in which time and space contradict each other and challenge destiny. A paradox is a self-contradicting idea that is logically unacceptable because there is no logic explanation to prove it. There are two types of temporal paradoxes: the causal loop and the grandfather paradox; each of them have the same basis, but have subtle differences. The movie “12 Monkeys” is built around a causal loop that enters in the subgenera of a self-fulfilling prophecy. This specific genre of the time travel paradox is based on the fact that an event in the future affect events of the past that will later on affect the future making an inconsistent logic of unexplainable relation of time and space.…

Thirty minutes of play of Zhang Yimou’s “Hero,” I watched two characters, Flying Snow with Moon, hanging blade to blade as if through mystical powers surrounded with spinning colorful leaves. This incredibly lovely scene, decorated in untainted color, shot like a fantasy poetry, and dramatized like angels’ dance, it is unbelievable to be a fight. It is more similar to a swordplay pleasure (Harrison 570). This is the loveliest scene ever filmed and among the spectacles that the film gives to the audience who must be ready to be amazed.…

The main topic of this movie, "first Do No Harm" was that the doctor should always put the patient first and have their best interest. This applies whether the solution be, using drugs and surgeries, or trying other things to keep them more safe. Sometimes the drugs can do more harm than help, and in Robbie's case, the harm came into play. Robbie was having seizures, which means something was going on, incorrectly, in the brain (which is part of the nervous system).…

Another type of relation interested Wong and Tsai is the family relation, but I would consider Wong view family relation higher than Tsai as almost every family in The Fallen Angles are directly presented. Wong tries to film a change of family construction into a new family model. In Ho’s family, it shows an incomplete family where there is an absence of the mother. Sato’s family is a family where its members do not live together, so Sato cannot celebrate his son’s important birthday. Yet the film’s passion lies on its suggestion of possibilities – Sato may go back Japan one day to reunite with his family as said in the videotape.…
