How boring would everyday life be if your new favorite music was never released? If you never receive the opportunity to see your favorite talent perform live, and art galleries all around the world close down? If the arts are depleted from schools worldwide, the risk of this happening is raised astronomically. The people in this audience have proven through the years that the DJHS band is nothing to be cherished. The band has decreased from a population of approximately 100 members in the early 2000s to about 30 current members. In addition, the students entering art class has declined in the past 3 to 5 years.
