In this case the characters in the movies are very similar with very few differences. In both Victor Frankenstein and The Curse of Frankenstein there is a scientist, an assistant, a women, a monster, and many peers. These characters all play a major part in creating the story. While there are similar characters the roles of these characters are different in each movie. For example Victor Frankenstein is a guilt ridden scientist who wants his brother back but Frankenstein is merely a man fascinated with the creation of life with hopes that he will become well know for his creation. The assistants in the movie also have different roles. Igor was a deformed surgeon who was rescued and cured by Victor Frankenstein while Paul was Frankenstein tutor before turning into a friend. Although both movies are very similar I think the conflict is different between the two. In Victor Frankenstein when Victor pushes away his only friend and creates the monster he is shown how dangerous bringing back life can be he also learns that he cannot bring his brother back this is a very important conflict that takes place in the movie due to how violent the monster was. In The Curse of Frankenstein I believe the conflict, although there were many, took place when Frankenstein resurrected his monster once again and had to destroy the creature in the end. I believe this was the main conflict due to the fact that Frankenstein shot his soon to be wife and killed the thing he became so obsessed
