In the book The Culture and Psychology Reader Richard Shweder make an effort to categorically explain the discipline of cultural psychology, as a matter of fact; he ended up uncovering the necessity of cultural adherence to other fields of psychology. He defines why cultural psychology is paramount to other disciplines, by saying that psyche without culture is abstract to human understanding (Shweder, 1995). Which makes me believe that; the appreciation of culture should be the hallmark to any field of psychology. Indeed it seam that cross-culture and cultural differences tend to be ignored by general psychology, where cultural quagmires are overpassed and the psychic process is addressed as an universal, fixed, and communal to all human
