The first laser engraver was invented in 1960 by Theodore Maiman. However, that was a ruby engraver. The first laser to be able to engrave wood and such was invented in 2004. That engraver was very large. The new laser engraver is expected to be out and selling by March of 2018.
The Cubiio laser engraver is 5 cm on each side. The laser has 100 different levels which put out a blue laser of 800mW. It is not the strongest laser, however; it gets the job done. Cubiio has solved the problem. with every laser comes a specially designed pair of goggles. And yes, these goggles are recommended to be
