The Crucible Love affairs or conflicts are highly involved in today's literature. There can be a lot of different conflicts from stories, that you are able to relate from by songs, or other literature works. There was a big major conflict in this story, and how that affected the whole story, and what happened. The main character of this story John Proctor had the affair with a young lady named Abigail Williams , and he done this while his wife was sick. This changed how the whole story went, and the outcome, how Abigail made her choices. But John's choices affected everything. Authors like myself can relate these situations, with music, and the lyrics of the different songs of the music, or quotes from the story. When the reader …show more content…
It is a very awkward relationship after the incident that happened between John and Abigail. A good song to compare to this relationship is ¨Crazy Girl¨ by, Eli Young Band. John tries to fix things between the two but it doesn't seem like it's gonna change. ¨You really oughta know that I just have to walk away sometimes we're gonna do what lovers do we're gonna have a fight or two¨ (Eli Young Band). Showing he is sorry for walking away and miss treating Elizabeth, that he understands that there gonna have a few fights over this situation, that´s what people do, but he wants her to forgive him. Like Johns says, ¨You are a marvel, Elizabeth¨ (Miller 1160). He wants to treat her right, he wants her to be able to trust him again after what he has done, he wants to make her happy, and feel like she means something to him …show more content…
A good comparison to this moment is the song ¨Windows¨ by, Angel Olsen. ¨Why can't you see¨ (Angel Olsen). That sounds like something John Proctor would tell Judge Hathorne, and Danforth to open there eyes. John knows all of this is fake scenery because of the girls. That John did not do anything with the devil, but he has to admit, and say that he has because they would not believe him if he says no. John says, ¨you come to save my soul, did you not? Here! I have confessed myself; it is enough!¨ (Miller 1163). How are they saving Proctor´s soul if he never has messed with the devil? But he did confess to it, but he knew if he did it would make a bad image to his name, but he had to to stay with his
