The affair between Proctor and Abigail drives the plot of the play. Personally, I really liked the acting of Christopher Laing. I think it was amazing the way he portrait John Proctor, a man who speak his mind about what he thinks, no matter who you are he will speak his minds. As the play went on you could see that he was a respected man in the village and everybody knew who he was. I enjoyed Daricel Calcano acting the paper of Abigail, the 17 years old girl who would do anything to get the man she wants. She was a good liar who makes everybody believe in what she is saying, and a girl who knew how to manipulate other and gain control over them. If you look at her while she is acting, you could see the way her face shows satisfaction when people did things that she told them to do. In general, I liked how everybody portrayed their characters. As the lights went off, the music started right away. When the music started, it made remember a type of music in D.R called palos. Palos is drum based music. The dances that goes with the music are called palos Muertos and symbolizes ritual pursuit. The dance has a balancing step that is alternated with a circular step, first going in one direction then changing to the other direction. The sound designer Manny Rivera did a good job choosing the songs that went with the scene of the girls dancing, and casting spell in the woods. Also, as the play went on in the background you could hear soft but intensive type of sound which also went with the mood of the
