Justice is sold to the highest bidder.” Throughout history, humans have witnessed injustice due to social and political hierarchy and though they know the implications of injustice they have conformed to societal norms. Society in The Crucible by Arthur Miller shows how the sociopolitical structure affects the outcome of the Salem Witch Trials. The most noteable injustice in today’s society, the time period in which Miller lived, and the setting of The Crucible is an example of social injustice.
