The Crucial Role Of Nurses In The Healthcare System

Nurses play crucial role in delivering care and participate as an active member in leading changes in the healthcare system. After assessing multiples obstacles the nurses have to deal in the workplace, The Committee on the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Institute of Medicine came up with a vision to renovate health care system. The committee envisages an affordable care system and accessible to general public of the United States, in the purpose to promote quality of life and to control disease, injury, and disability. According to the report, Nurses should go to school to have delivered degree-level higher education and capable of practicing to their full potentials. Nurses should be considered full be considered as equal partners as any others professionals. In order to practice their profession efficiently, the healthcare workplace need better infrastructure.
