The critical thinking barrier I struggle with the most would be egocentrism. Egocentrism is when a person looks at themselves as being more important than others. Being egocentric is a horrible way of thinking, because one only thinks about themselves, and not about others wants and needs. This affects me because I always put myself before everyone else. Me being Egocentric carried into my previous relationship with my partner. When we were in a relationship I would show this type of selfish thinking. Whenever we got into a disagreement I never listen to what my ex had to say, while she was talking. I would never listen because I would constantly be thinking about my rebuttal, or what I was going to say next. Not listening to what she had to
