The only visible feature its large glowing eyes, like beacons in the dark. Somehow people had seen sympathy in these things. Me? I hate the bastards. All they've done is cause trouble and killed everything I held dear. My farm, most of my family gone, Wulf and I were the only ones left.
"How far back is it?" I yelled still running forward.
"Ten, twenty meters?" Wulf called in response "Just keep running"
"We cant keep running forever!"
I can't remember how long we ran, I just knew that my legs hurt and I didn't want to continue. Dropping and letting the creature

Hello Nosleep family. I'm writing to you tonight because I've experienced something grim in the last few days. This is the first time I've had access to anything connected to the internet since shortly after the "incident" began. I've been running on about four hours of fearful "rest" since about five days ago, so please forgive me if my recalling is scattered. I live in a small city of about 15,000 people.…

Bruises hurt. Growing up with the uncomfortable yellow-green of an old battle wound sustained from being an adventurous kid wasn't much of a surprise. The off-shade violet of a deep one, or the angry red of an underdeveloped one, on the other hand, is a more recent discovery. Receiving them daily has become a required hindrance when being chased by your neighbor's sex crazed Pit bull. I could have gotten a car to avoid him --my town is small and my mother never thought I needed one--…

In the first exploration, we explored the opening monologue of the Narrator and the very first scene. This first scene is important as it can be linked to the idea of omnipresence and control of play. In this case, the control is over how social class affects the main characters. This can also relate to Greeks’ idea of Fates who decide the fate of humans for their own pleasure. The Narrator is always there and it is as if he is amused by the actions of Mickey and Edward.…

A Call from the Dead “I’m back!” I call, as I swing open the dormitory door, and my roommate greets me warmly, too. It’s been a fine school day; I aced the class again - another A plus. The teacher’s branded me as the best student of the year - and oh, did I feel triumphant as the other kids’ envious eyes all fixed on me, jealousy evident on their disapproving, frowning faces. I heard a few murmuring about Rachel - but it didn’t matter; all that was in the past anyways.…

Despite the beauty of nature and the sunlight shining on my body, my -oh-my-god-i-need-to-buy-that-now- scent of my perfume had told the bugs of the trail a war request, and they accepted the request. I kept swinging my arms at the bugs trying to go for my face, but they got to my legs first. Then they started to crawl up my legs, almost to my pants. I kneel down and try to swing with all of my force at the mob of bugs and gnats. Luckily i got most of the bugs, but then the mosquitoes surprised attacked me and started sucking my blood from my arms.…
