The Creativity Movement

These commandments include: doing your part to produce the next generation of white people, never marrying anything other than a white person, banishing all thought and influence of Jews, working toward professionalism and a noble pursuit. And you must work toward making a lasting contribution to the White people. Norms: written and unwritten rules that specify behaviors appropriate and inappropriate to a particular social situation. One of the most stressed norms of the Creativity Movement is not talking to media, which I found somewhat strange because they are very much about telling people about their religion and how it is the responsibility of every “Creator” to be a full time recruiter for their religion. Although their laws and commandments states that they are against any illegal actions in an interview with CNN regarding one of their members, Benjamin Smith, whom went on a rampage killing 2 and wounding 9 before killing himself, Matthew Hale had this to say: “I liked Ben. Ben, he was not a psycho to my knowledge, he was no bad person… he died a martyr for free speech for white people in this country. When you have a system that persecutes you for standing up for your race we would call those people martyrs.” (Hale, CNN) Whether or not they officially sanction or condone such actions they certainly do not seem very upset with the members of their group committing such actions. One of the scariest things about the Creativity Movement is that the members of it do not look any different than your average professional worker. This fact makes them seem much less threatening. They do have symbol that is on their flag and literature and sometimes clothing. This symbol is a circle with a “W” in the center of it, with a crown overtop that, and then a halo floating just above it. The W represents the white race, the crown signifies the aristocratic nature of the Elite white race, and the halo indicates that they regard themselves as being unique and sacred above all other …show more content…

A social Interactionist might also agree largely with this group on the fact that they do mainly focus on their awareness of self and how everything around them effects them. What have I learned from this study and about subcultures in general? The problem with humanity is it creates a randomness of incongruity that does not enable us to have a utopia like the politically correct dream of. Because as soon as you demand that someone else accepts your idea then you have ultimately violated the idea of individuality. This is why subcultures exist and why mainstream exists for that matter. Everyone is trying to be something else, who they are, but as soon as you go against the current in any way you are no longer mainstream. If you were to let the white supremacist of the Creativity Movement do what they wanted they would no longer have limits and they would take

The denotation of “creativity” is the use of the imagination or original ideas. Similarly, the feeling that “creativity” conveys is imaginative, joyus, and cheerful. Even though this word has a positive connotation to it on it’s own, the way that Rosenblatt uses the word “creativity” takes it and gives it a negative feel to it once it is incorporated into the whole sentence. This is because he added”passionless” which has a very negative connotation that is attached to it. Then, in result, it gives “creativity: a negative feeling to it.…

Overtime, multiple people of different races and ethnicities have been treated unfairly, same goes for the travelers from different countries seeking a new life. Most of the time those emigrants become slaves, and in all honesty.. It’s unjustified. No group or single person deserves to be disrespected just for their race or background, especially since they are coming to this new country for a brand new life and a fresh start, but coming just to be disrespected and being treated unfairly doesn't seem right. Murphy shows us how this has affected the emigrants in the story “Across America on an Emigrant Train.”…

Their presence disrupts the peace by inciting riots and violence, their protests can be seen as bullying or harassment, they are discourteous to the sanctity of a funeral and indifferent to the suffering of others. Therefore, this church and its followers should not be able to protest at service members’ funerals. This group is well known for its peaceful picketing of funerals that seem to respect the boundaries set up by law enforcements.…

The authors aimed this article at informing their readers in understanding that creativity is an essential factor for education. Most people have heard the word “creativity” and have a basic understanding of what the word means, but the article gives us a clearer viewpoint on the subject of creativity. It states that “creativity is widely acknowledged as vital for social and economic innovation and development as well as for individual well-being” (Collard & Looney, 2014. p. 1).…
