In “The Creative Destruction of Medicine” dated July 12, 2013, by Eric Topal said that technology advancements have made it possible for people to use portable devices to access medical information; therefore, we have easy access to information. Due to the advancements, our lives have been radically changed. For this reason, tech for the ill who are stuck in their homes just got a lot better. They are now able to use a system called InRead invented by Teads. This device allows these ill people to be able to send their heart rate, oxygen concentration in blood, body temperature, to even their brain waves to their doctors without driving to the medical office. The article was published two years ago on April 14 in 2015, so not that long ago and the other articles are recent which means the site is up to date. Terry Johnston believes that the medical field will have to go digital; however, people believe that medical records will be too easy to hack. Terry Johnston believes that since we are all going digital, the healthcare field will have to too, even though the process will be slow. Online exercise and calorie trackers can provide the drive people to stay in shape. For instance, people feel the need to reach their goal on their tracker and or online exercise chart, that’s their incentive. Telehealth a new creation is something that has started to help the people with an illness that keeps them in their house to be able to send their current medical conditions and if they need any medical assistance.
