Creative Curriculum Analysis

The creative curriculum opens up many doors for little minds. Children learn from doing things themselves through play. Three objectives in this activity are demonstrating balancing skills, solves problems, and demonstrating fine motor skills. I will change up the classroom just a little by bringing out new building blocks and other objects to build with and assigning tasks in each center to try that have to do with building and using fine motor skills. In this plan all children will be able to use many skills and their imagination. In the class we have four centers that will be set up with additional objects to build with. A task will be given in each center. In art there will be building with paint covered blocks, balancing them ten tall …show more content…
By doing this Latoya will feel supported and is most likely go ahead and look past her fears slowly and try to complete the task on the wall. Encourage Latoya and remind her she can do it. Get the other children involved as well by cheering her on and helping her face her fears. Tommy is feeling uneasy about hurting his best friend 's feelings. Tommy is also upset and worried about what his two friends will say and if they are going to be mad when he chooses what to do and who to go with. Conflict and resolution will help this issue conclude because you can certainly have more than one friend and if those two friends are not friends yet they can become friends as well. Coming together in a group to discuss how we can make this fair is what needs to be done so everyone is happy including Tommy. Let Tommy know he can do whatever he chooses and see if there is a way he could possibly swing both play dates. This is not really something for the teacher to decide. So reassuring Tommy everything will be okay and work out for the best is the greatest way to help the situation, maybe even giving the idea for Tommy to ask if his other friend can join them at the movies and all three have a slumber …show more content…
Some core values from the NAEYC state appreciate, recognize, and respect. I totally I agree with all three you have to appreciate all things around you all the way down to the children and their parents. Being a teacher and childcare provider you have to recognize all differences between children and the way they interact. Having respect for everyone you come in contact with is a must you have to give respect to get respect. Ideals are to be familiar and know what you are doing when it comes to early childhood education. You have to stay aware of things changing as well where I work we have to complete 18 hours of training every year. This keeps your knowledge fresh. Stay informed we have to ask questions to get answers and we have to observe. We have to do research to learn better learning techniques for child development and knowledge of children. Then we have our principles like rules on how to run the show we use these things as a guide to work through difficult situations and disciplinary measures for children. We should always talk on eye level with a child never raise our voice and never harm a child in anyway shape or
